STINSON | Outside In

Perched atop piers overlooking Bolinas Lagoon, this home enjoys sweeping views of the pristine estuary and Marin hills beyond. Its interior converses with the exterior - natural materials, birdlike forms and distressed textures abound throughout the home. Taking inspiration from the layer of fog that often drifts in and envelops the area in a moody mist, the textiles are cozy and soft. A rich color scheme of chestnut, rusts, teals and deep blues reflects the changing colors of the lagoon and hills, blurring the boundary between outside and in.
